Charities

We are a local business and as such we want to support local charities and really be a part of the community. We have listed the charities we support below - this list will be added to with feedback from the Landlords and Vendors we work with.

Pebbles with letters spelling out the word 'charity'

Robes project

A small charity which runs winter night shelters for homeless people from as far away as Croydon to London Bridge. This charity has been running for 7 years and this year has expanded the number of shelters it has opened to 22, with between 15-24 guests staying each night. They also offer a podiatry service for guests and a Wednesday lunchtime club. There are also food banks associated with this charity which offer a lifeline to people struggling in the current financial climate.
We support this charity because, when we turn the heating on this winter there will be countless people on the streets who do not have this option.

Dream it believe it achieve it

*Established in 2010, Dream It Believe It Achieve It (DBA) is a unique organisation that recognises the athletic greatness inherent in all people with physical disabilities and supports their athletic endeavours by providing grants for training, competition and equipment needs.
93% of the 500,000 physically disabled people in the UK do not participate in sporting activity.
Many disabled people believe that there is no opportunity for them to take part in sporting activities, either because the support they need does not exist or it is prohibitively expensive.
It is the mission of Dream It Believe It Achieve It to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics.
Dream It Believe It Achieve It believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life

Battersea dogs and cats home

This is the fun one! We are proud to support this charity and sponsor a kennel each month. All the people in the office have either dogs and/or cats and so this was a really easy one to choose. Battersea do such good work re homing both cats and dogs and giving them a second chance at a happy life that we really felt we couldn’t ignore this charity.
